What we have found

We have found a lot of interesting artifacts in and surrounding the town of Ideal, Colorado.  Although what we are finding are not worth a lot monetarily they are treasures to us.  The artifacts give a nice insight into what life was like living in the coal mining towns.

For the most part we don’t dig in the ground the artifacts that have been discovered have been laying exposed to the elements.  The Interesting thing is most of the artifacts that we find are not near the foundations and remnants of the buildings, most of the artifacts are found along the edge of the arroyo’s.

• Pieces of plates and cups
• Cooking ware that has been discarded
