My great grandfather (Murray M. Watson) was the mine superintendent at Ideal.

 

The group pic in front of the YMCA came from a book called “Coal was King: Huerfano County Mining History”, which says the building burned down in July 1925. My grandmother is in the middle row, third from left, white dress with black sash.
